Remarkable Multi-Family Full Gut Out Home Renovation With Breathtaking New Roof Deck, South Boston, MA

The homeowners of this gorgeous 3,800 square foot multi-family building wanted their units to be more family oriented, modernized and up to date. We took the interior down to the studs to create a bright, inviting home with a lot of new features.

We began this renovation by completely gutting the interior of the home—removing all walls, ceilings, fixtures, insulation, and outdated materials. This clean-slate approach allowed us to address structural issues and rebuild everything with precision and quality.

Once the space was opened up, we replaced all major systems. The electrical wiring, plumbing lines, and HVAC system were fully upgraded to meet modern safety standards and energy efficiency requirements. These improvements not only increased functionality but also added long-term value to the home.

With the infrastructure in place, we turned our focus to comfort and livability. We designed and installed a completely new kitchen featuring custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, and high-end, energy-efficient appliances. Every detail was selected to maximize style and function, including under-cabinet lighting and optimized storage solutions.

To enhance energy efficiency and indoor comfort, we installed brand-new insulation in all exterior walls and ceilings. Air sealing was completed to eliminate drafts and improve thermal performance. Throughout the home, original hardwood floors were carefully sanded, repaired, and refinished. Where needed, new matching boards were added seamlessly.

Once the core elements were completed, we installed new drywall, applied smooth finishes, and painted the entire home with a modern, neutral palette. Decorative trim and baseboards were added for a polished, cohesive look.

All bathrooms were fully renovated with stylish tilework, new vanities, updated lighting, and water-efficient fixtures. The result is a clean, cohesive home that looks brand new—designed for modern living while retaining its original character.
